About Bea!

Hello, my name is Bea.

I am 13 years old, I love writing and art and cannot wait to share my experiences with you. I have started writing and have written stories, but my personal best was recently published in a Story magazine, named Storytime. This is a fabulous magazine filled with fables for young children. My Story was named The Leopard That Lost Her Spots, about a female Leopard, that, as the title states; loses her spots in an unfortunate race. I am also an Oxford University Press Children’s Classic Champion of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and my review of the L. Frank Baum’s story and my recommended reading list is printed in each of the OUP editions of the book.

I have been to schools and even a library to share my story and crafts and I hope to do that on this blog as well.

I don't just love writing though; reading plays a big part in my life. There are so many books to transport you into other worlds. They open up adventures and improve your imagination. I want to help reading become more frequent among children. To help you find the right books, I will review books I love for ages up to primary to secondary!

There are many more things I like, such as crafts, art, vehicles, animals, nature and a few sports like swimming.
